| Frugality Week is boring. Yesterday I found a local liquor stores that carries 12 bottle medleys of local beers. 2 different 12 packs: Midwest (though I think one was from SF) and Indiana. I would've gotten both, but it's Frugality Week, so I didn't. I also had to buy a bottle of wine. This sort of wine comes in 4 different sizes. One of those things where the $/oz. drops significantly with every step up in size. I went with the biggest. It's like a jug. I'm not sure what's more Frugal: Getting exactly how much you need for the occasion at hand, and no more OR spending the least for the most. Obviously, I made my call on that.
Previous weeks are keeping their hold. I'm still finding myself naturally being a bit more outgoing, and I'm reading and focusing on strengths more. Now when I think of something I don't know that I feel someone may expect me to know, I study up. And last night I finished 1 of the 2 shoes I'm working on for a particular project.
This whole thing has been so insanely positive. I should mention that the shoe project is somewhat Frugal of me. I bought everything necessary to complete the project about a year ago. All told it cost about $50. And without finishing the project, that was money down the drain. |
